This week, our host family, Lucille and Darrell, hosted the final week of our summer program. Every morning, we had muffins, coffee, cake, and juice, which had everyone coming back for more! We also had morning prayers every day to start the day off right. We had lots of fun activities throughout the week, including swimming in the pool, soccer, which was a big hit, scavenger hunts, cookie making, colouring, bracelet making, shirt designing and a fun slip and slide. We also had a very busy open house to finish off the summer program. It was a great way to celebrate the summer together, with a wagon ride, Mass, and a potluck. It was wonderful to have everyone come together and enjoy the day. Overall, it was a busy and very fun week, and a great way to end off our summer program. We are so thankful to everyone who helped out throughout the summer and made it such a fun and memorable experience.
