We had an amazing start to our summer program! We were thrilled to welcome back one of our returning host families Matt and Charlie, who kicked off the week by treating everyone to a delicious breakfast of muffins and apple juice every morning! With the hot, sunny weather all week, we enjoyed lots of pool time along with fun activities such as stomp rockets, a scavenger hunt, button making, painting, Bingo and a bonfire to end the day. We also celebrated Canada Day on the farm with activities that everyone enjoyed. On Saturday, we hosted our Open House and were grateful to welcome so many visitors who stopped by to say hello and come for the potluck. Wagon ride with the tractor was a huge hit, thanks to the hard work of the Greely Lions Club that built our new wagon. We did two full trips around the tractor trails with families. We also gathered to watch the FIFA World Cup match between Canada and Morocco, which had everyone cheering until the very end. Overall, Week 1 was a fantastic start to the summer, and we can't wait for all the exciting weeks ahead!
